Year Running: 2016/2017
Credit level: F7
Co-requisites   SCS628   SCS629   SCS631

Description

The dissertation module gives students the opportunity, in the context of an original piece of empirical research or literature based topic on a subject of their own choosing with reference to their workplace setting, to undertake an independent study with support from a dissertation supervisor. This will enable students to draw upon and develop both their knowledge and their thinking, to demonstrate their understanding of and ability to integrate both the conceptual and research methods foundations laid in the earlier part of the programme, and to undertake a critical analysis of a topic relevant to the field.
